As you know, i have been staying in this island since '85. I did a lot of fishing back then. My buddy caught one the size of a steel drum cover.It had real great colors. I suggested to him to put it back, he did not want to and he said it actually taste good. The guy boiled the pieces to separate the cartilages from the meat. Then cooked it simply with sauteed ginger and coconut milk. Tasted good. Specially with ,our favorite, Rum cola! Regards... Hello Massimo,

I did not dive, only snorkle, but there was this HUGE thing all of a sudden floating underneath me, just a meter away! That was a very quick run out of the water! Did I see an UFO? I couldn´t tell what this creature was. Fortunately the stingray flipped a few times up out of the water so my friend was able to tell me what the mysterious swimster was and I was relieved hearing they don´t eat humans. Puh! I love how you portrayed it. The eyes look quite hypnotizing. Lucky you that you got to dive with a mermaid!
